Secretary is the phone number +1 604 262 1424, answered by an AI on Joshua Trommel's behalf. It keeps as little as it can, for as short a time as it can.
When you text or call
Twilio carries the call or text. It turns what you say on a call into text, and keeps its own logs of calls and messages under its policy.
An AI writes the reply. The words of the conversation go to one of Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude or Cloudflare Workers AI, whichever is answering that day.
ElevenLabs turns the assistant's spoken replies into a voice. It gets the assistant's words, not yours.
Joshua gets your message. Every text you send, and a short summary of every call, is texted to Joshua with your number. That copy lives on his phone.
Spam screening. Calls whose caller ID fails the phone network's verification are turned away, and Joshua can block a number.
Urgent calls. If you say a call is urgent, Secretary may connect you to Joshua's phone.
What is kept, and for how long
The conversation thread the assistant reads from: one hour, then deleted. A short note about you (your name, what you wanted, anything promised), so you don't have to start over next time: 30 days after your last contact, then deleted. Text FORGET ME anytime to erase it. A written copy of each call and text thread: seven days, at a private link only Joshua has, then deleted. The audio of the assistant's replies: up to seven days, so common lines aren't made twice. A count of how many times your number reached Secretary today: one day, to stop spam. If Joshua blocks a number, the block stays until he removes it. Calls are never recorded as audio.
The website
secretary.jaybulb.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Cloudflare, which runs it, may keep standard request logs under its own policy.
What we never do
No ads. No selling data. No marketing texts. Secretary only texts you when you text it first, or when Joshua sends you a message through it.
Stopping
Text STOP and Twilio stops all texts from this number to you. Text START to undo it.
Kids
Secretary isn't aimed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect anything from them.
